Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)  and HQ Integrated Defence Staff PP & FD (WSOI) Division is organising a one day workshop on “MAKE” and “BUY & MAKE (INDIAN)” on Monday, 30 August 2010, at DRDO Bhawan, Dalhousie Road, NewDelhi.

In order to understand modalities, procedures & implementation aspects of “MAKE “and "BUY & MAKE (INDIAN)”, the two organisations have come together to conduct a one day workshop encompassing the following aspects

• “MAKE“ Category – A Critique & Measures required to strengthen;
• “BUY & MAKE (Indian)” – An overview;
• Utilisation of “BUY & MAKE  (Indian)” to enhance Indigenisation;
• Role of DRDO and service HQs , issues of concern etc.

The workshop will be attended by service officers fro m HQs Integrated Defence Staff, Ministry of Defence, DRDO, DGQA, Coast Guard, Indian industry, Think Tanks, Academia and experts in defence sector.
